Bonuses may be prorated based on schedule. - 36 Hours/week, Full-Time, Day shift -Maine state licensure to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) is requiredThe behavioral health integration program is seeking a highly motivated, innovative, personable individual interested in providing supervisory and management support to a dynamic team in the Portland area working primarily in pediatrics and in specialty practices. The manager will work closely with the director of the program and other managers to support the delivery of safe and effective care within the integrated setting. The program manager will travel the healthcare system to meet with behavioral health providers for clinical supervision, support team building and staff engagement, work collaboratively with practice managers and stakeholders to improve quality outcomes, and assist with sustaining current programming and future development. The behavioral health integration program has approximately 100 clinicians in the MaineHealth system, spans across 9 hospital systems including into New Hampshire. The program focuses on providing focused, targeted interventions to patients of the practices, with access to behavioral health being our primary goal. We work collaboratively with the medical teams to address whole health care and wellness, aiming to improve outcomes and reduce unnecessary costs. We partner closely with other behavioral health programs to assist in seamless transitions of care. As a manager, you would develop and foster relationships with those programs. Additionally in this role you would be expected to work at least one day a week in a practice to keep up with your clinical skills and also to immerse yourself in the culture. SummaryThe Program Manager will maintain primary accountability for the management and delivery of safe and effective patient/client care and for the day-to-day functions of the program. The Program Manager shares the leadership of the team and is responsible for the coordination of services. The Program Manageris responsible for the management of team members, client/patient outcomes, design, delegation and supervision of work load, team building and for the appropriate utilization of human and fiscal resources. The Program manager works closely with management to ensure quality and compliance of clinical documentation. The Program Manageris responsible for program sustainability through effective service utilization and case load management leading to the achievement of the overall financial goals. In addition, the program managers in BHI routinely work in a practice delivering behavioral health integration services for part of their week.Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Education: Master's degree in Social Work, psychology or related field is required
  • License/ Certifications: Maine State licensure to practice at the independent level of an LCSW, LCPC, or PhD. in mental health. Additional licensure in substance use treatment is preferred
  • Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience in community settings preferred, 3+years of clinical supervisory and management experience preferred.Additional Information
